The body was not taken off the frame, as there was no need to since it was a southern California car. All sheet metal and front end was bead blasted to bare metal with engine and transmission out of car. There wasn't even a ding in the body. All the chrome on the car has been re-plated, outside and interior. Dash was taken completely apart with restored pad by Just Dash's. Front end taken apart, painted and all bushings and bolts replaced. Engine and trans were completely rebuilt and detailed to show quality as original. Convertible top frame taken completely apart and restored to original with new cylinders, hoses and pump. All rubber on car was replaced with new. Trunk compartment detailed as original with all new trunk lining from Jenkin's interiors down to original red spring holding jack in place. The interior is black with silver metal trim as original. The wide white's are Radial's. The Gold Grill was an Option. The Gold Saber wheels are 1956 Caddy and really make the car. Since restoration completed the car has only been drive about 500 miles to three local car shows and won 1st place each time.
