Vehicle Detail
This is a restored, correct, early, hard to find, low bar, 1963 Honda CB77 Superhawk that was purchased from the original family and totally restored. This motorcycle was unmolested, family owned, and well maintained. It was purchased at Honda of Flint in June of 1964, (thus having a 1964 title). It was completely stripped and powder coated in the correct and original color of blue and silver. All chrome was re-chromed or replaced, as were the tires, tubes, and rim strips. New spokes were installed and rims were balanced. New cables, foot rubbers, air filters, plugs, wires, etc were replaced. The bike was running well before being disassembled, so it will need a tune up, battery, and tweaking by the buyer, I have not put any gas or a battery in it since the restoration. (engine number is CB77E318860). Included with the sale is a clear Michigan title in my name, and the original, (not a copy), goldenrod 1964 title in the original purchasers name, several Michigan registration slips, the original owners manual and dealer service booklet. Also, included are photos of the motorcycle, with the original owner, the day the buyer brought it home, and photos before the restoration. I also have the windshield that was dealer installed and a rear luggage carrier. Included, if the buyer wants them, are most of the old parts that were removed for the restoration. You are bidding on the motorcycle in the photos in as is condition, without any warranty implied. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements. A non refundable deposit of $250.00 is required at the end of the auction. On Apr-06-16 at 18:02:37 PDT, seller added the following information: Correction: The correct milage on the odometer is 18453. I apologize for the error. On Apr-10-16 at 09:43:13 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had a few questions asking why I haven't started the bike since the restoration. This bike was restored to be a display bike indoors, which I will still do if the bike doesn't sell. Once again, the bike was running before the restoration about one year ago, it ran well. I have done nothing to the engine except to clean it cosmetically, I have not done any work internally to the engine, or have ever opened it up. It does have good compression when kicking it. Feel free to come and inspect the bike before bidding if you wish. Thanks!
