Vehicle Detail

I special ordered this car from First Team VW in Roanoke, VA and it came in the spring of 2005. I picked up the car 1 day after it arrived and it has been garaged kept ever since. It has been my personal vehicle. This car has not been detailed or prepared for selling. I reluctantly decided to sell it, backed it out of the garage, and took the pictures you see posted. I always keep my cars as nice as I can. I have floor mats on top of floor mats, so the carpet looks like the day it arrived. The rear cargo area has a custom fit Weather Tech mat as well, so the carpet there looks new too. I have done all the scheduled maintenance which naturally includes all new timing components, including a new water pump since we were there. Three months ago, I installed all new brake rotors, pads, and necessary hardware for a total brake job, front and rear. I used original VW parts, not aftermarket ones. To really appreciate this car you would have to see it and most important, drive it. I have always liked VW diesel cars because of how well they drive and how long they last. Everything on the car operates properly. A few years back, I sold my youngest son's 2004 Golf TDI that had 165,000 miles on it and the gentleman that bought it was driving over 100 miles/day to work. He called me a few months after buying the car and said it was the best car he had ever owned. A lot of VW diesel owners fill that way about their cars. I'm selling my car because I have been returned a 2011 VW TDI Sportwagon that I bought for my son. Last week he bought a 2016 GMC Canyon Diesel pick up, so he gave me back his car. It's one of the cars caught up in the VW diesel scandal, and I'm sure not going to let it go until I see how VW is going to compensate owners of these cars. So, my 2005 Passat TDI Wagon may be going to a new owner. I can tell you that I really love this car and would not hesitate to go anywhere in America in it today. I have taken excellent care of it knowing it was the car I would take on any trips that I would take. I just thought of an additional item worth mentioning for potential buyers in cold weather climates. I have 4 brand new, never used, Studded Snow Tires mounted on original VW steel wheels and factory wheel covers for this car. I purchased them 3 years ago just in case I would ever have to go somewhere in a snow storm. If someone buys this car and has a need for these tires and wheel, I will include them for an additional $150.00 of the purchased price. That is a fraction of what they cost me. I hope I have included everything you would need to know about this car, but if you have any additional questions, I can normally be reached at 304-712-6699. If I am unavailable, please leave a message and I will return your call. PS: I just thought of something else. When XM Radio came out, I had an XM Radio installed that I still use. I have the original radio that came with the car and will include it with the car if wanted.
