Vehicle Detail

I purchased this rare limited edition LS430 supercar new in 2004 as a company vehicle. It is the most amazing car I have ever driven so instead of trading, I purchased it from my company. I now must reluctantly sell it. This car is ranked among the top cars ever manufactured. It is loaded with the rare Ultra Luxury Selection package. There are very few this loaded up. You could purchase a base model for about $56,000 or so but the sticker (shown in the pictures) on this car is $71,879 and the dealer sticker was $73,879 plus about $5000 in tax and fees. They were not discounting these cars. This model was so ahead of its time that it has options which are just now being built into new models. It has radar cruise that slows down when a car pulls in front of you and speeds back up when the lane is clear. It is the closest thing to auto pilot and all you have to do is steer the car. The car is equipped with a pre collision system that will cinch down the seatbelts that pull you back in the seat and lock the brakes if you fall asleep and are headed for a guard rail or any object. You can tell it has these options by the plexiglass base behind the front emblem. The headlights turn when you turn the steering wheel. It has an air independent suspension and the car drops down 2 inches when you go over 45 MPH to make it more aerodynamic for better mileage. You won’t see any on the road. It is absolutely amazing. The Mark Levinson sound system is the best I have ever heard. It is better than my new 460 and that car has 19 speakers. This car sounds like a concert hall and among all the other comforts; it is one I will miss most. The Ultra Pack options include heated/cooled front and rear seats. The rear seats have a back massager that you can control and the seats recline. It has a cooler for your sodas behind the rear center console where the radio, separate A/C controls, seat heat/cool, massager, recliner and headrest controls are located. The Aniline leather is in excellent condition and this non smoking car still smells new. There are so many things this car does, just take a minute to read some of them on the original window sticker. You will see the stack of folders in the pictures. I have records on everything. It has recently had the timing belt, front seals, water pump (and coolant flush), hoses and serpentine belt replaced per the factory directive. It was done at 112,000 miles and won’t be necessary for at least another 115,000 miles. Lexus recommends it be done at 80,000 miles but the cars are so over engineered that my friend the service manager said it will easily go 120,000 miles. When they changed mine at 112,000 miles they said it looked like new. There is not a drip, leak, vibration or any sign of wear such as smoke or smell I recently installed all new rotors and pads as well as new Michelin MXV4 Energy radials. The last Michelins had about 70,000 miles and still had good tread. I had to change them because the tires were cracking from age. All fluids have been routinely changed and I just had the transmission flushed again and filled with synthetic fluid. This car should go another 100,000 miles without needing anything but oil changes. By the way, after the initial free maintenance, I have personally changed the oil every 4,000-6,000 miles and have always used Mobile 1 synthetic oil. The motor runs like a sewing machine and it is so smooth you cannot tell it is running. This car is in top condition from front to back. There are a few small chips and a small abrasion on the rear bumper cover where another car must have kissed it in the lot. It is too small to show in the pics and may rub out with some compound. Overall, the car looks very nice as you can see in the high quality pictures. As you can see, the car is top notch and it needs nothing. There are two points that I have to mention in the interest of full disclosure. When I had owned the car for about a year and a half, I rear ended a Honda Civic. The front bumper, right fender, hood and some misc parts were replaced with new Lexus parts. I have a friend who runs one of the top body shops in the area and he did a perfect repair job that has never given one problem in almost 10 years since. The hood and door gaps are perfect and if I did not mention it, you would never be able to tell any work was done. There was only sheet metal damage, no frame damage. The car tracks perfectly and the alignment is perfect. As I mentioned, the previous set of tires went 70,000 miles and wore perfectly even. There are no squeaks or vibrations. I do mostly highway driving and I typically cruise around 75-80 MPH. The car feels like it is going 55 MPH. On top of that I recently drove it to Gainesville and it got 24.6 MPG at around 80 MPH on I-75. The second point I want to mention is that there is a small bubble in the dash cover just above the nav screen. It can be seen in the pictures. Even though the car has been garaged, the sun in Florida is brutal and the dash gets hot while parked at my office. I should have put some kind of pad over it but the bubble is small and I don’t even notice it. I heard there may be a recall on this and Lexus may install a new one. However, I recently looked for a used top dash and there is one on EBay for $200 right now, if you wanted to make the car perfect. Again, the spot is not bad but I want any prospective buyer to know everything possible about the car. If you check my feedback, you will see that I am an honorable seller. The Lexus manager told me that many people who traded these cars in for the new 460 came back a month or two later and wanted the 430 back. This model will go down in history as one of the greatest cars ever made. You will never find more car for what this one can be purchased for. I have seen base model LS430s going in the $14,500 range. This loaded car can be purchased for a very reasonable number. I really do not want to sell it but I have 5 cars and a truck. I am out of garage space and I don’t want to put this one outside. I sincerely appreciate your interest and will answer any questions you may have. Thank you.
