This has been my summer car for a few years. I am finishing up another car and time to move on. The Chevelle was painted in 2000. The paint job is still holding up well for its age. Hard to believe it is 16 years. I keep if very dry and always parked inside. It has crate engine in it with around 300 hp. Runs like new and it should, it is practically new. I put on 200-300 miles a summer. Not much besides car shows. I have taken it to back to the fifties, car craft, and street machine nationals in Minnesota. Runs great, doesn't over heat sitting in line waiting to get into the shows. Drives straight down the road, doesn't leak any fluids. The car has 20's on the back and 18's on the front. The rubber is like new. I have a stereo components for the car too. I just never used them. This car get's all sorts of attention when I am at the shows. The paint job "pops". All the kids call it a from hot wheels. If you don't want to spend a lot of money and have something fun to drive around with this is your car. It doesn't have anything really pressing to be fixed. You can always improve what is there. If the car has some nice road tires, it would drive from Minnesota to California. I fell that comfortable with it. It also has power front disc brakes.
