Up for sale is one of the last 993s to leave the factory and one of the few remaining in the hands of its original owner. This car is likely the 2nd or 3rd to last 993 C4S made, with the very last one going to Jerry Seinfeld. The car was specced and heavily optioned by the general manager of a Porsche dealership as a personal car for himself and his wife. Finished in rare and desirable Arena Red paint with a factory whale tail spoiler (an $8,500 option in the period) - the car still presents very nicely to this day with only minor blemishes in the finish and the only real signs of wear being on the steering wheel and shift lever. The car carries with it books, tools and extensive service records. The engine was rebuilt approximately 20,000 miles ago and a new clutch fitted at the same time. There was a strut brace installed between the front towers tastefully under the carpet, the wipers were set to a European park position on the opposite side of the windshield from US cars and the front turn indicators were changed for European ones with clear lenses. Included with the sale are a set of new-old-stock European springs which were never installed in the car. It also has a car cover, both keys and bracketry for a five-point harness. While the owner had aspirations of track driving, he never actually got around to doing it. Factory head-unit is also included, which was recently upgraded to a more modern radio along with new speakers. This is a rare opportunity to own a well-kept, very late production 993 C4S.
