This is a NO reserve auction for a 1971 Chevrolet K20 truck. Please feel free to ask as many questions as you wish and ask for pictures if you would like to see something not pictured. The truck has the original factory 350 engine that was rebuild approx 4000 miles ago. The previous owner also had a new clutch, HEI ignition, and tires installed at the same time. The 4 speed transmission shift perfect as does the transfer case. Starts with no issues and runs great. Also comes with the original Big blue hub 4x4 lock outs that are pictured. Period era mile marker hubs are currently on the truck now. The truck is originally from Montana and has minimal rust in the body. The paint is the original 524 red and still has the factory Disc Brake sticker on the tailgate. The frame is in great condition and the only rust through I can find is in the rocker panels, battery tray area, and a small spot on the passenger side cab corner. Floor pans, doors, bed, and fenders all look good. There are dents and dings on this truck, it will need body work, but very little rust repair. There has been some previous body work done on the passenger side bed panel and I do have a factory side bed panel that is in great condition that goes with the truck. The interior is all original and in good shape. The seat and dash pad will need to be recovered. Complete interior, no speaker holes in doors, factory AM radio (works) still there. Please take a look at the SPID from the inside of the glove box for the options that came on the truck. It still has the complete manual throttle setup and the wood bed is factory. Has new AM speaker, defroster hoses, NOS cigarette lighter, used perfect under dash wiring harness. All of the electrical is in great shape and all lights, wipers, radio, horn, etc are in working condition. The only thing it needs is an antenna. I use "Mater" frequently for small trash runs and driving on the weekends to scare the crap out of people around the DC area. Not on purpose, they see this big old truck and get freaked out and move to another lane. She is a beast, and I'd love to keep her, but don't have the time to play as much as would like and don't want her to just sit and rot. So, anyone wanting to buy her and turn her into a puller or part her out, please choose another truck ! I will not sell to you. Looking for a weekend project or restoration, please bid ! I have been asked about any frame, cab, and spring hanger rust. I have added some pictures showing these areas. The frame and spring hangers are in outstanding condition with no rust or damage issues. Both inner rockers are rust free and the floors are near perfect. Only two small areas on the driver side about the size of pen cap showing rust through. Both rear cab mounts show no rust through and the front mounts show some rust out near the connection with the cab. None of the cab mounts need to be removed / replaced and the fronts are an easy fix. Thanks for the questions.
