In this description and with photos we hope to convey the good, the bad and the ugly. The good is this is a very rare 1997 Toyota FJ80 landcruiser. This is the final year of the FJ80 and this one has all the options including factory lockers. We started the restoration of this vehicle by sending it to our asc certified mechanic first. It is in good running condition and there are no issues with engine,transmission, or other systems. Runs strong and has been looked over, tuned up, and minor engine work done. The issues are isolated to the body. This vehicle has a salvage title and is not currently registered, can be issued a rebuilt title upon inspection in all 50 states. It is not uncommon for these 97 40th anniversary edition landcruisers to sell for well in excess of 15k. The body issues are minor and the other interior issues are shown in the pictures. This is a good opportunity to purchase this one as a project and will be well worth the investment. we are selling at a very low reserve and if it isn't reached then we will complete the project. Just have about 5 too many at present time. The bad is that it does carry a salvage title. The damage is on the front right of the vehicle and includes the hood, light assembly and front fender. These damages will need to be repaired in order to receive a rebuilt title. The damage is isolated to this area of the vehicle. The ugly is the interior, it needs a very deep cleaning, the front drivers seat is ripped on the seat cushion and needs to be repaired or replaced. The carpet either needs to be replaced or steam cleaned throughout. The hood and roof of the vehicle have weather damage very common in landcruisers.
