96 RMW LDM woody 75k Up for bid is a 1996 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon with 75k two owner miles (second owner was recent heir to the car). Collectors Edition like every other 96 Roadmaster. Loaded up with power everything. Boasting GMs Corvette inspired multiport injected 5.7L LT1 V8 engine and 4L60E 4 speed automatic transmission, she puts down plenty of power. Tow package with 2.93 limited slip rear end (GW9 & G80 build codes). Trailer preparation "tow package" means the factory rated the car to pull 5000 lbs but these did not come from the factory with hitches so all hitches are aftermarket. Condition Report ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. Good battery & good charging system. Starts easy and runs strong. TRANSMISSION: Performs beautifully. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors. EXTERIOR: Body: Body is exceptionally straight - only a couple very minor dings: one on hood near hood ornament and one near the emblem on the left rear quarterpanel as pictured. View images full size to see details. Above average. Paint: Paint is very nice - one scratch on hood is about the only complaint. Way above average. Wood: Upper wood trim laminate is mostly still there and good with a couple touchup spots. The side panel fake wood is in great shape (still shiny, not faded) with only a couple tiny nicks. Not even peeling around the license plate area. Very nice wood. Other: Lower stainless bright trim is great shape. Front bumper stainless has a few dings. Rubber side trim is all there. Windshield and all other glass are good with no chips, cracks or scratches. Undercarriage is beautiful - see the pics. There is a dent at the bottom of the spare tire well (but no rust.) Underhood sheet metal, tailgate sill and door jambs are solid as seen in pics. Aluminum wheels are in excellent condition - no wheel weight marks or delamination. INTERIOR: Interior of the car is in excellent shape. Leather seats are clean and soft with no tears, carpets are great, cargo area is nice and clean. Dash has no cracks, steering wheel is in nice shape wtih no dye wear, and headliner is not sagging. No smoke or pet odors. Shows like the low miles - very nice interior overall. ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) There is a cassette tape stuck in the deck but all other options work reliably, including power windows, power locks, power seats, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, am/fm cassette, power antenna, keyless entry, rear window release, rear wiper, intermittent wipers, and rear defroster. DRIVEABILITY: Drives out very beautifully. Steering is tight, alignment is good, suspension is tight. Brakes work well with about 60% lining remaining. Tires have about 90% tread remaining on a matched set of good quality whitewall radials. Solid, quiet exhaust with no leaks. Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.) No complaints - drive anywhere. Short version terms: Small non-refundable deposit as listed (but fast) by Paypal within 24 hours.
