Vehicle Detail
Selling my favorite toy. Just no more room or time. NOTE: CORRECT VIN IS wdb10704512000630; Ebay form would not accept this because it is a European non-conforming VIN. No issue with titling I bought it as a running project car and it has become a daily driver even though the project is not done. This is a dual timing chain engine Runs good, drives good, and A/C blows cold (but have to recharge twice a year).Tires still have some miles on them and the body is in fair/good shape but does have some rust bubbles but nothing is rusted out.I have the hard top I have done (and paid to have done) extensive engine work on this car and it runs well. So well that I'm comfortable having my wife drive it on a daily basis. She loves it but it's no longer practical for her business and I have no room or time to continue to work on it. The long list of work completed is below and while it runs well I want to be clear about what you're buying. So here is what I had on my list that still needs to be done. Engine: runs well but does leak oil a bit. I add a quart 3 or 4 times a year; Odometer broken at 124kTransmission; No issues until recently; it slips between 1st and second at the same rpm every time. If you release the gas it re-engages. Research indicates this is NOT INTERNAL to the tranny but either a vacuum leak or a transmission modulator valve. My vote is the valve. Convertible top: Rag top is there and functional but is worn and has a few cuts in it.Suspension: No details but it does need shocks (didn't get this far)Console: need to re-install wood frame over radioRadio: does not work REPLACED:Pulled all carpeting, floor pan sealed, new carpet installed with sound baffle underneathNew BatteryAll engine vacuum hoses replacedLower manifold vacuum seals (under air flow boot)ReplacedFuel pumpFuel AccumulatorFuel FilterFuel Pump RelayPlugsPlug wiresFuel Distributor (remanufactured)Fuel Injectors, seats, and seals/guidesAir distribution hosesFuel pressure damperValve cover gasketsTemperature sensor (front of engine)Overload Protection RelayDistributor Cap and rotorIgnition coilIgnition Control Module (under hood)Idle Control Unit (under dash)Oxygen sensorWarm up regulator (replaced with used unit)Idle Control valveDriver side power window switch
