Vehicle Detail
"The supercharged S-Type R-model joined the lineup in 2002 to 2008, and the hope was that it would compete with BMW's M5 and the Mercedes E55 AMG. The R was powered by the newly revised 4.2-Litre V8 with an Eaton M112 supercharger, producing 420 hp and could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.0 seconds." This is one of 163 R-models manufactured in 2005. Like it's contemporaries, it is a performance luxury sedan with all the power and convenience options you would expect in such a vehicle. I purchased it new for my wife, and it has be kept in a climate controlled garage every sense. Maintenance has been every 3000 miles, with trips back to the dealer for warranty upgrades. Service history with car. New tires, brakes, and battery were installed over the last 3000 miles. It runs, handles, and rides great with no issues that I am aware of. When Ford owned Jaguar ( 1999-2008 ) the car giant corrected all the inherent faults the cars originally had before the purchase. Like all luxury cars, depreciation is near vertically DOWN. So heres your chance to drive a k$65,000 luxury performance car for the price of used economy sedan. Live a little. (many more options and equipment but can't get them to copy)NO RESERVE l!!!lOn Mar-03-16 at 05:58:29 PST, seller added the following information: Answers to some questions; Never wrecked, rusted, smoked in, warning lights, or undercarriage damage. Really guy's. My wife wanted a new car and the dealer would give me nothing for the perfectly good Jag. Listed it on ebay and the first buyer changed his mind? Relisted with no reserve. It's taking up space, I'm still paying for insurance, and it's time for it to go!!! It's as simple as that.
