This classic 1997 Mercedes SL500 provides a luxurious and solid ride with precise handling and a quick and powerful 5.0L, V8 engine. The rich tan leather interior has a some cosmetic issues, but overall is nice. This SL500 features dual power-adjustable with memory, heated seats (do not work), power hardtop, soft-top (does not work), keyless entry, climate control, am/fm/cd/cass audio, leather wrapped steering wheel, roll-bar, auto-dim rear view mirror, alloy wheels, Bose audio, and more! This Mercedes SL500 is in solid condition and with just some cosmetic and mechanical work this SL500 could be a great classic convertible Benz! Just passed our 116 point state inspection and is ready for the road! There are some issues that do not take away from the fact that this SL500 is a solid running and driving car. The cosmetic issues consist of: small chips on the hood, there is tape on the right side of the front bumper, seats are worn and have rips in the bottom cushions of both seats, the driver's side mirror is taped on to the car, headliner is loose and falling, and the wood trim has cracks. There are a few other minor issues such as the roll bar light on the dash stays on even though the roll bar works. The radio works, but the pixels are bad and are hard to read. The soft-top does not work, but the hardtop does come off. The map lights do not work and the driver's side mirror also does not work. This Mercedes will be a very nice ride with just a few fixes, so don't miss this opportunity to own Mercedes luxury for a competitive price.
