Awesome 1980 Dodge Ram Step Side Pickup 440/425 HP and Automatic Transmission ( NO RESERVE ) This cool 1980 truck has an excellent metallic Green two stage (base coat/clear coat) paint system, it has many coats of clear and has been wet sanded and buffed to a beautiful professional finish. All door jams and undersides of the hood and bed have been finished in the same quality as the exterior of the car. The body is very straight, with all body lines fitting and aligned perfectly. The underside of the truck is clean and finished (but it is a driver) The truck was partially painted apart and meticulously re-assembled after all painting was complete. All of the sheet metal that forms the bed and rear fenders is new ( I DO NOT HAVE A TAILGATE ) with a new solid Oak floor that has been stained and had 5 coats of clear polyurethane applied on top, bottom and edges of each floor section so water will not wick into the wood if the floor gets wet. There were a couple of rust holes in the floor pan that were cut out and new metal welded-in to replace the defective pans. There is no rust in the truck. The engine is a built 1969 vintage 440 engine that sounds great and runs good. It has the stock high output ignition, long tube headers, a Offenhauser aluminum hi-rise intake, 750 CFM Edelbrock Carb, hi-lift hydraulic Comp cam, flat top pistons, good 906 440 hi performance heads and a great shifting automatic transmission and it runs on pump gas. The cooling system is a new stock type radiator with electric fan and over ride switch inside the cab. The speed odometer does not work along with the gas and amp gauge. I installed a new pick-up and sending unit into the gas tank so I know it is in the gauge. The rear-end is the heavy duty Dana with 3:73 gears and a posi-taction unit. The truck is setting on a set of 4 Deep Dish Eagle Billet 15" wheels and wide Eldorado white letter radial tires. The interior seat is from a late model Dodge pick-up and is in excellent condition. There is a new JVC Stereo/CD player that sounds great through the speakers in the doors. The truck is equipped with factory AC and everything is intact with the exception of the compressor and one AC compressor hose. All lights work along with the wipers that have new blades. The power steering works well and the truck has all new front disc brakes, rear drum brakes and new wheel and master cylinders. All the chrome, stainless and trims are either new or in excellent condition. all weather stripping in also in excellent condition. The rear panel and doors glasses are in perfect shape, however , the windshield has a chip, some scratches and it is starting to get cloudy around the edges. The truck drives and handles well and the transmission shifts good. it is peppy and sounds great through a new set of Flow Master mufflers and aluminized tail pipes. This is a great truck and is being sold as is, where is. I have attempted to list everything I know about the truck making sure it is as accurate as possible.
