Vehicle Detail

1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme - - LOW Reserve - - LOW Reserve - - Low Reserve - - You MUST cut and paste this photo link, with it you will see over 100 pic of this car in high quality. Cut & Paste this link s1377.photobucket.com/user/tman123/slideshow/1971%20Oldsmobile%20Cutlass%20Supreme What I like about this car is that is hasn't been messed with. The only thing I can tell that was changed was the original radio was switched to a modern AM/FM CD player. This is the factory 350 V8 Rocket, factory 4 barrel, 260 stock Horse Power! The engine runs strong and starts instantly, no smoke, no noises. Factory AC that is all intact Power Brakes Power Steering Tires are in like new condition The car was factory brown; when we bought it, it had partial red/brown hot rod primer and part maroon paint. We did "No" body work! Because we knew it would be a while until my kids could afford to paint it that we put on a pretty cool looking "grungy", kind of "rat rod" looking primer paint. We included photos (in the photobucket link) of the areas of rust that we simply painted over that way no one would think we are hiding anything. The current primer coat was simply meant to allow my kids to drive it for a while and look cool in the current condition. We bought this car a few months ago as a father/daughter/son project, but I took a job in Texas, so we need to sell it "as-is". The only problem that I can tell, is the brake system - the master cylinder is leaking and there is also a break in the rear brake line so the car can't currently drive down the street. I have the car up on rear jack stands so you can see the transmission engage (transmission was rebuilt in 2010). Because the Cutlass is notorious for having the front fender rust, the drivers door slightly hits the fender when opening. I am including my 1971 Cutlass Restoration Parts Catalog with this sale, it has all the factory parts to replace anything you may need. The windshield is cracked but the rest of the glass is in great shape. There are some dents on the body (front fender and rear quarter). I tried to take pics that can be seen on the photobucket link. There are some extra parts in the trunk (original bumper jack, spare tire, rocker trim, sun visors, emblems, two wheel well chrome trim pieces, ect. There is only a very small amount of rust on the driver side floor plan (refer to the photo bucket link) and a dime size hole on the passenger side. I took out the carpet so you could clearly see the condition of the floor pans. The center hump and the entire back floor and under the rear seat is excellent! We hate to see it go, but it just doesn't make sense to move to a new state, take on a new job, and try to fix up a car while renting a home until we get settled. Please cut & paste my photobucket link, it will show you over 100 photos of the car! s1377.photobucket.com/user/tman123/slideshow/1971%20Oldsmobile%20Cutlass%20Supreme
