This 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe Police 4dr 4WD started life as a Police K9 unit. Later in its life it was used as a Fire Department Echo unit. Vehicle has been fleet maintained for its entire life with regular oil changes and needed maintenance. Vehicle was taken out of service due to being replaced with newer unit. Vehicle has been sitting unused for the last year. Vehicle has 5.3 Liter Vortec that runs very good. Mileage is 147,748 and is original. Mileage could change but vehicle is not expected to be used. Transmission and drivetrain does not have any known problems. 4WD works as it should. All lights function properly. All power options function properly with exception to drivers door power lock described below. Vehicle does need some maintenance to be driven daily. It is currently losing brake fluid which appears to be a broken brake line; however, this is no guarantee to extent of problem. If brakes were repaired, it could be driven. Brakes had no issue when taken out of service and its issue is probably due to not being used. Please remember this vehicle was used as a Police K-9 patrol unit as well as by a fire department. Physical inspection recommended prior to bidding as pictures cannot show all defects. All known problems are disclosed below, but no guarantee to be entire. - Brake issue as described above - Broken emergency brake cable - Drivers door does not lock with power lock; however does lock manually - Rocker panels are very rusty with holes in them - Rear quarter panels are also rusty with holes starting in rear bottom - Front fenders also have rust with hole in passenger side upper lip - Drivers side front door pins are sagging; however door shuts properly - Rear passenger door handle broken. Taped into place and does function - Missing part of back seat on passenger seat. Not original seat and does not match front - Missing front center console - Missing rear seat belt on drivers side. Center seat belt is there - Passenger front door panel pocket broken - Takedown spot light disconnected; however wiring is there - Vehicle has multiple scratches varying in depth. Many could be buffed out, some not. Varying stages of rust throughout - Approximately 40% tread left on tires. No known leaks. Personal inspection is encouraged.
