91 CCR 212 Up for bid is a 1991 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser wagon with 212k two North Carolina owner miles. B body wagon with same frame/body panels as the 1991-96 Chevy Caprice and Buick Roadmaster wagons, but the Olds was built only 91-92. No body rust, nice paint, and super nice undercarriage. Loaded up with power everything and most of it works - cold a/c, PW, PS, etc. Powered provided by its original 5.0L Chevy throttle body injected (TBI) 305 V8 engine (L03) and 700R4 4 speed automatic transmission, which provides a decent balance of power and fuel economy. Tow package 3.23 limited rear end (GU3 & G80) with aftermarket air shock. Delivers 16 mpg in town and 23 highway mpg, which is pretty good for a car this size. Car available for showing in Mt. Pleasant after 6:30 pm weekdays or any time weekends by appointment. Condition Report ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. Good battery & charging system. Starts easy and runs strong. TRANSMISSION: Performs beautifully. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors. EXTERIOR: Body: Body is in very nice shape with no notable dents or dings outside. Very straight. Above average body. Paint: Paint is nice with some signs of age on the left side. Right side has spots where repainted long ago (Carfax shows an accident in 1995 - over 20 years ago.) Still nice for the price. Other: Lower plastic cladding trim is all present and in nice shape. Windshield and all other glass are good. Undercarriage is extremely nice with no visible rust - see the pics of undercarriage. Hubcaps in nice shape with minimal curb rash or damage. INTERIOR: Interior of the car is in very nice shape. The only complaints are a small crack on the dash near the defroster vent, some fading of the cloth seats, some cracks on the door panels, and the glovebox latch is the wrong color. Seating areas are in nice shape, headliner is nice - some minor sagging near the edges, rear cargo deck carpeting is nice. Steering wheel is in good shape. Front factory floormats are present. No smoke or pet odors. Very nice interior overall. ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) The only complaints are that the power antenna and cassette player are broken, and the tachometer (showing engine speed in RPM) reads about 2k high. Speedometer and odometer work just fine.. All other power options work including power windows, power locks, power seats, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, am/fm stereo, intermittent wipers, rear wiper, rear defrost all work. DRIVEABILITY: Drives out nicely! Steering is tight, alignment is good with slight pull to the right, and suspension is tight. Brakes work well with good linings. Tires have about 50% tread remaining on two matched pairs of good quality radials. Solid exhaust with no leaks on the pipes, but the joint between the Y pipe and main pipe donut has a leak (not rusted). Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.) No complaints - drives GREAT - drive anywhere. Short version terms: Small non-refundable deposit as listed (but fast) by Paypal within 24 hours.
