On offer here is surely one of the cleanest Model Ts on eBay at this time. This is a 1919 example which was, very early on in its life, converted into a roadster pickup body style using one of the available kits in period! This is one of the most desirable body styles as it offers the fun of a roadster and the practicality of a truck bed to be used on parades. This particular car spent its entire life just outside of Topeka, Kansas where it was taken out of a barn in absolutely complete condition. I have pictures of the car when it was resurrected from the barn and it was a completely solid car with the truck bed you see on it now intact. No rust through is visible in the photographs. All in all, it is believed that this Model T retains all of its original Ford sheetmetal from new. This Model T does have its original motor with the Ford VIN number stamped into it. A quick glance at Ford Model T build dates also confirms that this particular number dates from early 1919, making it the original engine to this car. This car was lovingly restored to a high standard by the family who drug the car out of the Kansas barn. The paint is well done and not a poor job as is done on so many of these old Ts. The underside of this particular car is also every bit as nice as the top of the car. The car is very clean underneath with none of the typical grungy or rusty mess which is usually seen on the underside of these cars. This car is a car which the next owner could stand with proudly at a local cruise night. The car has wonderful wood wheels which are in fantastic shape along with nickle hubs. The car is also appealing in that it has a number of accessories on it. This car is accessorized with air pump on the passenger running board, step plates, horn, dual lamps, tool box, hood ornament, and speedometer which runs directly off the passenger front wheel. The speedometer is actually not hooked up at the moment but will function if hooked up. All it requires is a gear on the passenger side front wheel. The interior of this Model T is every bit as nice as the rest of the car. It is properly restored, clean, and most components in the interior as as new or almost new. As you can see, just a good clean interior with no rips or unwanted wear and tear. The engine compartment compliments the rest of the car. Very clean, highly detailed, and very correct. Overall, what you have here is a Model T which looks as though it were produced only a few years ago! Frankly, the photographs do not do the car justice, but they are what we have to work with at this time. They do represent the car honestly, if not, they actually understate the quality of this Model T! This Model T runs very well and I have had the car up to 35mph with absolutely no trouble whatsoever. The car is for sale now and is ready to provide many miles of pleasurable cruising to its next owner! This would make a fantastic piece of a Ford collection or would make an excellent parade car!
