EDIT: CAR DOES NOT WANT TO IDLE. STARTS EASILY JUST DOESN"T WANT TO IDLE. NEEDS SOME CARB WORK. IF YOU LIVE FAR, YOU MIGHT WANT TO CONSIDER TRAILERING, minor problem as I was driving it daily up until a couple weeks ago. Price has been reduced.I am selling my 1982 Malibu Wagon which I have driven daily since August. It has no rot in any of the fenders. The underneath is very clean, the floors are solid and no frame rot like a lot of these old G bodies are known for. I have made several trips to Indiana and southern Illinois without issue. Cruises on the highway well. Within the last 1,000 miles I have replaced the shock absorbers, radiator, water pump, and belts. And within the last 4,000 miles the plugs (8 cylinder), wires, distributor, and vacuum lines have been replaced, new valve cover gaskets were also installed. The original carburetor was also rebuilt, and the rear break lines, wheel cylinders, and shoes were also replaced. The tires are in good condition with 80% tread life left. The car fires right up with one pump of the pedal when cold. I believe the car has 53,000 original miles as it was elderly owned, and according to a retired Chevy mechanic of mine, the car has never had a front end alignment, yet it still steers pretty straight. The car uses little to no oil between changes, and leaks no fluids. The inside upholstery is very clean and nice, just a few wrinkles in the driver's seat. The rockers have no filler and are solid. You would be hard pressed to find a cleaner example in the midwest. This car would be an excellent "sleeper" project, restoration project, or daily driver. The reason I am selling this car is because I am looking at another classic and I need the money. **if you are local and have a sincere interest in the car, you can send me a message and we can arrange a time for you to come inspect the car. Car is for sale on other websites as well and listing may end early if car is sold. Local? Make me an offer. ***Please read above "condition description" to make yourself aware of the car's flaws.****** The car has been described to the best of my ability and is sold strictly "as-is, where is". No warranty expressed or implied.*** PAYMENT: Pay-Pal deposit of $500 within 24 hours of auction end, and cash at pick up. If I do not hear from the winner within 48 hours of sale, the car will be re-listed due to the number of non-paying winners out there. Please, serious bidders only, if you bid and win, you are expected to pay. Otherwise negative feedback will be given.
