Vehicle Detail
For your consideration a 1966 C2 Corvette Stingray. I have owned this car since 1973. It was put up in the late 1980's and has sat in my garage since. This is a 327 Small Block (it will need to be rebuilt), with 4 Wheel SS Disc Brakes, AM/ FM Radio, Teak Steering Wheel, SS Exhaust system, and Reproduction Knock-Off Wheels. This is a very complete Corvette. The Buyer is responsible for paying for and picking up (or arranging for the transportation of) the vehicle with in 10 days of the close of this auction. On Dec-06-15 at 17:51:01 PST, seller added the following information: Please understand that this vehicle is being sold as a restoration project. It is complete, but it is not running at this time. It has been setting in my garage on a on a plastic trap since the late 1980's. Sorry if there ha been any confusion! On Dec-08-15 at 10:42:34 PST, seller added the following information: I will try to get pictures of the engine compartment posted in the next couple of days. I do not know if this is a Matching Numbers Car. I will say No, just to be fair and on the safe side. The car has been sitting since the mid 1980's. I am sure the frame is intact, but rusty. There is no major body damage. The color is Milano Maroon. The Steering Wheel is TEAK!On Dec-09-15 at 05:16:13 PST, seller added the following information: I have added the pictures of the engine compartment and the left rear quarter panel. I will say once more that I do not know if this is a matching numbers car. I was the 3rd of 4th owner, The Corvette is being sold "As Is". I am not making any claims as to this being some fantastic find.On Dec-11-15 at 09:13:02 PST, seller added the following information: I would like to thank everyone for your interest in this Corvette. The response has been overwhelming. I have not been able to contact some of you because I am traveling for business, and would like to apologize. To the 30 people who have wanted to see the car I will not be returning Home until Sunday evening, and will not be able to accommodate your requests. I have responded to some e-mails stating that this car has no major body damage, however I did forget to tell everyone that the previous owner had a luggage rack mounted on the back deck. these holes (6) will need to be repaired. I do have the luggage rack. along with the factory rims and wheel covers that will go with the car. I did not intend to mislead anyone. On Jan-22-16 at 12:36:49 PST, seller added the following information: Today a gentleman looked at the car. He to me: 1) The engine is not original to the Car. 2) The frame is solid and in good shape.
