Vehicle Detail
I bought this a couple of months ago, from the original owners family. It had been sitting for a long time. It has 71k original miles on the car. The condition of the interiot will back this up. It has always been a California and AZ car, ao it is a very clean car. The only rust i have noticed, is the typical GM rust spots on the lower front fender. The car has had 1 repaint. Interior is very nice, including headliner, and no crack dash pad, no crack steering wheel. Vinyl on the top of tje rear seat has some sun damage. Power seats, power windows, a/c, power steering and brzkes. The car had not run in quite a while when i bought it. I replaced the ignition parts, thermostat, waterneck housing, and hoses. Also material brake cylinder. The car will now start with fuel poured down the carb, and then run from the factory gas tank. Obviously it will need the carb rebuilt. But it does run well with no smoke, or have any strange noises while running. It does move forward and reverse. This car is not yet a driver, but will take very little. Brakes need to be bled, Carb rebuilt. The starter some times needs to be clicked a couple of times, do to a lazy bendix drive in the starter. There is a crack near the water next housing that was fixed with jb weld, but should either be welded, or the manifold replaced. The intake valley pan needs new seals too. I am sure some other things that need to be gone over, but this is what i have noticed. But it is a solid, original, unmolested 2 door, that does run. Also, it has all of its trim. It also has 2 set of original hubcaps in the trunk. One standard, and one upgraded set! This is a true find. It is ready for someone to finish her up. This should not be consider a driver, until everything is gone over. It is a good start for a minor restoration, and then a driver. Please ask all questions before you bid. Do not bid just based on my description. Do your do diligence to see if this is the right car for you. As for shipping, I would tell the shipper this is a non running car, do to the carb and brakes. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to stop the auction, as long as the local sale is above the high bid, at the time of the offer. I also reserve the right to end the auction do to bidding irregularities. Dont miss out on this one. Thx For some reason the deposit amount in the ebay fill in form only says 50 cents. I tried to fixed it before the auction started, but it will not let me. As stated in the payment section, a NON REFUNDABLE deposit of $500 via paypal with in 48 hours.
