1974 Cadillac Sedan deVille A hybrid restored original car/custom car for sale. It has a 472 cubic inch Cadillac motor having 489 horsepower, power steering, power seat, power brakes, power windows, automatic transmission, and air conditioning as well as a dynamite paint job. Body is flawless and chrome in very good condition. I am the third owner of this car that had 63,000 original miles before restoration and engine modification. Since modifications were completed, another 1,600 miles has been added. All work on this car was professionally done and receipts are available for review. Over $55,000 was spent over a 2 year period to modify the car and ensure that the car was dependable. The car has won awards at local shows and is a very elegant attention-getter. Need to make space in garage and want it to go to someone who will give this beauty a good home. Listed below is a thumbnail of what has been done to the car. Chassis and running gear: Full inspection, no rust. Undercoated, new shocks, front disc and rear drum brakes, new ball joints, suspension parts. New medium whitewall tires and Cadillac wire wheels installed. Front end lowered 1" to level the car. Fuel system: Gas tank cleaned, NASCAR style fuel pump and closed recirculating fuel system insures fuel is always available when needed with no engine hesitation. Body: Very minor rust below rear window remediated, chrome strips on both sides removed, door handles removed and replaced with remote access ("poppers"), mirrors replaced by modern "bullet style" mirrors, body completely gone over, all very minor dings and dents repaired and a flawless "Root Beer" brown with gold and maroon metal flake applied before clear coat. All new weather stripping for all windows and doors. Interior: All leather. Original headliner, rear seat, and door panels retained. Front seat restored with new cover, padded dash replaced, gauge package installed replacing original warning lights. Radio updated with mp3 capability. Carpet and floor mats replaced with NOS. Motor and Drivetrain: Original 472 motor replaced with a 472 Cadillac racing motor built by the Cad Company (Albuquerque, NM). New 4-bbl carburetor, MSD ignition and distributor, fuel system modified for better performance and dependability. Car has a custom aluminum radiator, all new hoses and belts, and new air-conditioner compressor. Custom dual exhaust was fabricated and the headers were painted with high temperature silver compound. Transmission was rebuilt and modified to handle increased torque. Rear end assembly was serviced but remains original. This vehicle is ready and able to be driven anywhere at anytime and I am sure would appreciate being driven more than a few times per month.
