For auction is a 1972 Porsche 914 1.7 This 914 is not a show car but a nice driver. Starts and runs well. I've had the car for 12 years. It's always garaged and doesn't see water unless it's being washed. Was an Arizona car before I purchased it and has very little rust. The inside rear trunk corner is showing some issues under the latch and lights but the hell holes are solid with minor surface rust. The previous owner removed the side marker lights. No A/C, the reverse light is not hooked up, the odometer / speedometer is not working, the right rear trunk support arm came off the quarter panel (needs to be spot welded but will still close), there are some paint chips (see pictures of doors), a little paint bubbling on the shark fins (pretty sure it's not the original paint job), front valance and fiberglass bumper need replaced/painted (I have new ones that will be included), driver seat has a split at the seam, it does have a small oil leak and the engine could use a cleaning. New master cylinder, new alternator, newer rear brakes and calipers and good rubber. The odometer reads 37,139 but it is not working and I have no idea how many miles are actually on the car. I doubt that I've put 3,000 miles on the car in the 12 years I've owned it. Dual carbs but could probably use a tune up (sputters on occasion). Car looks good and turns heads but again, it is not a perfect show car. Zoom in to see the interior, engine and paint condition. I have a reasonable $5,500 reserve on the sale and will answer any questions you might have. Clear title. Recently passed safety and emissions inspection. This is an as-is sale with no warranty and the buyer is responsible for shipping or pick-up. I have requested a $500 deposit with full payment due within 10 days.
