I love this car. It has taken me to work, on vacations, weddings and funerals for many years. I even slept in the back with a single mattress at 4-day air shows. Now, it needs front end (steering) work (est. $350) and 4 new tires (est. $400) and so it has to go. I live in a small town and cannot put it in the weeds. I own 3 other Roadmaster station wagons who have occasionally needed a body part. Because of the rarity of this body type not many body parts are out there from the back edge of the front doors to the rear bumper. From the rear of the front doors forward the wagon is just like sedan--no problem. Currently on ebay Motors Parts there are less than a half dozen backend body parts. They range from a rear window hinge at $85 to a complete rear window at $340. THUS, THIS CAR IS OFFERED PRINCIPALLY AS A PARTS CAR. Either salvage the parts and sell them on ebay or put it in the weeds for other Roadmaster afficianados like me or drive it away and fix the front end. Operations details--motor, lights, cruise control, abs, gauges, power windows, remote locks, etc. all are in good working order. A new air conditioner compressor was installed last summer. The car has had regular maintenance. THE ONLY MALFUNCTION: THE CONTROL THAT SLIDES THE DRIVER SEAT FORWARD AND BACKWARD DOESN'T WORK. Body details--THREE BODY PARTS ARE MISSING-(1) one half of the flyaway trim between the left front and rear doors flew away while driving. (2) chrome trim on the left rear corner to the left of the back gate is gone (3) plastic front grille is all there but the surface has seen better times. It has a rear towing package, glass including lights are excellent. Chrome is very good. All interior control buttons are present. (see photos. Antenna and horn buttons are missing. The front left driver's seat is slit exposing the padding (see photo). All of the other seats, rugs, headliner are in good condition. DETAILS QUESTIONS?
