here we have a new repop 1967 corvette body setting on a rebuilt 1976 corvette chassis all the suspension on the donor 76 is new -springs front and rear s shocks all new bushings, complete disk brakes,power steering with pump, it had a small block with turbo 400 trans ( NO ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION ) donor chassis was off a driver that was never wrecked and NO rust issues . BODY is all 100% new repop very high quality heavy glass not the cheap flimsy race car stuff, this is a street car body the doors are hung and latched with power windows installed, and all factory corvette glass and trim will fit as it should , has all the inner fenders and firewall installed ( the body is all one piece ) not bonded together as pcs it was molded all together at one time , GOOGLE DOWNS BODYS and you can see picts of the body, the fit and finish of the car is great no waves in the glass , the hood and doors fit great , has a 427 stinger hood, all the correct openings for factory 64-67 headlights , parking and tail lights , the body has wheel tubs already installed if you want to narrow the rearend for the pro street look they are 22" from outside body fender to inside tubs can run a 18" tire no problem, INTERIOR has all the steel structure installed for steering , dash , swing pedals , master cyl, door hinges and latches, has a cool looking one pc dash that is not installed with all the gauge layout , has a one pc headliner panel that finishes the top from the back package tray to wind shield header , all the factory corvette garnish moulding ( not included ) will fit to trim out everything around doors and windows, I do have all the steering column ,swing pedals ( brake) and power brake master cylinder that will install as original , the body fit the c3 frame like a glove bolts down in original mounts I have a new 67 radiator support , small block radiator , tail lights , grill , rocker mouldings ,76 seats full set of new fiberglass bumpers, lots and lots of misc parts, " DOES HAVE A GOOD 1976 COLO TITLE " WITH ALL THE VIN TAGS I have a ton invested in this car so im not giving it away, my reserve is way less than you could get a body for, a new DOWNS body sells for $14000 alone , so bid realistic and build a NEW 1967 corvette for a fraction of the cost of original, the car is for sale local can stop auction at any time, $500 paypal deposit due 24hrs after auction ends On Dec-30-15 at 11:07:00 PST, seller added the following information: The new body is now over $15000 so do the math 15 grand + a good donor car around 5 grand there is well over $20000 here if you were going to build the same thingOn Dec-31-15 at 16:10:02 PST, seller added the following information: added a picture of the front end i was going to do and a picture with chrome wheels that are not included it comes with the factory corvette wheels again please go to DOWNS BODYS to see completed cars and to see the real price of the bodyOn Jan-02-16 at 17:44:22 PST, seller added the following information: well i guess i need to add a few things I am getting lots of questions about the donor car .it was a 1976 corvette 350 automatic it was a driver driven everyday the guy just had the suspension redone front and rear new bushings balljoints springs and shocks, shortly after this less than 5000 miles it had an electrical fire and burned all the dash and so it was parked and sold engine and transmission, that is when i got it took all the body off threw it in the trash and put this new 67 repop body on the chassis , 1- chassis never wrecked and is in great shape ,but no it is not painted and detailed just steam cleaned 2-the seats are 1976 corvette but need covered and foam /cores only no other interior except factory tilt telescopic column ( installed ) swing pedal -shifter-emergency brake misc small parts 3- no it is not primered it is raw gellcoat no body work has been done although it doesn',t need much 4- yes all the brakes are there no the tires are not new, I do have the drive shaft 5 -yes it is legal to title it as a 76 because the vin# stays with the frame 6- no it will not drive if you install the engine trans there is still a lot of fab work that needs to be done !!
