I have owned this classic Mark III just over 7 years, acquired from a Lincoln dealer in MT; it has been meticulously maintained, always kept inside, driven lightly and has always been extremely reliable. Car was repainted five year ago; chrome and glass are in excellent condition. Mechanical enhancements include new Edelbrock carburetor, electric choke, new dash, wiper motor, new A/C compressor and condenser, rear shocks & springs, both front shock absorbers, upper control arm bushings both sides, both strut rod bushings, master cylinder, rear coil spring, front brake hoses, fuel sending unit, and transmission flush. Very recent improvements include replacement of complete exhaust system including pipes and mufflers, replace electric window motor (passenger side), replace radiator and complete service with antifreeze, coolant & zinc additives, radiator hose, oil,etc. To my knowledge, only things still needed are cable in one of the remote rear view mirrors, and motors for door locks and power seat. I just had motor in front passenger window replaced, but when all the way down it sometimes will not go up without help. This car has been a complete pleasure to own and drive. It is truly an attention getter; last time I had it out two separate drivers actually stopped me to admire it. It looks and drives great!!! I am only selling due to recent relocation to a condominium. My mechanic and I both believe these are original miles, due to fine condition of the car, but cannot document as prior records are unavailable. On Dec-09-15 at 12:56:36 PST, seller added the following information: I have added several pictures of the undercarriage. Several small areas of very light surface rust. Only body rust is on the bottom of the lip below the rear fenders, only visible from bottom of the car; and two "bubbles" behind one of the front wheels as shown, which truly are hardly visible. My mechanic tells me the heater box has been fixed. All windows work. I recently replaced the motor for the front passenger window, have only driven the car a few times since, and notice that window still didn't work once when I used it but did the other times. If these little problems were not present I would have a much higher reserve on the case. It truly is a pleasure to drive.On Jan-01-16 at 19:37:55 PST, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention earlier that when I had the pipes and mufflers replaced several years ago, my mechanic recommended and we used slightly oversized, galvanized pipes to compliment and enhance the 460 cubic inch engine. Along with the Walker turbo mufflers, they have been great and also have a very unique, mellow sound. When returning from a short ride several days ago, two separate drivers actually stopped me to compliment me on the car. It truly looks and runs great.
