This is a 1963 Chevrolet Corvair convertible - project car. It needs work/restoration to be able to use it and put it on the road. It is complete. The floors have been repaired/patched, but not professionally, the trunk is NOT rusted out, but slightly rusty. The car could use a patch-panel or two, but basically is a fairly sound car for it's age. The convertible top was rotting away, so I cut it out. the top frame is solid. It is a power top, but the lift cylinders have been disconnecred - telling me there is some problem with the pump. The Interior is in fairly good condition, minor flaws - but usable, it needs TLC. While in my ownership it has never run - it was being worked on to run, when I purchased it. The engine is free/not frozen/siezed and rotates freely. The tires were rotted and would not hold air, so after breaking them down, I had the rims sand-blasted and powder coated blue. (My intention was to turn the car into a blue-on-blue with a white top). I mounted five steel-belted, narrow white-wall radials on the rims - yes, including the spare - which none have ever seen the road. the car has always been stored inside - and is presently.Seller reserves the right to end/withdraw this listing at anytime, as it is being advertised for sale elsewhere. Shipping - Transport of the car is the full responsibility of the buyer - but the seller will help with the coordination of anything that needs to be done from this end. Payment - A deposit of $500.00 is required within 48 hours of our sale agreement, the remainder with one week/seven days.
