2001 Jeep Wrangler Sport 179000 miles. The Bad. It's has a blown head. I havnt pulled it apart to see whats wrong. It maintained oil pressure and got me home. So it runs minus one cylinder. My hunch is push rod or busted valve. I would not recommend driving far for i think this motor would be a good rebuild project. Windshield cracked. The good. Newer top with good zippers. Interior is solid no tears or burn holes. The body is solid. It needs new fenders. And has three rust spots if dealt with soon will be fine. Tub and floor solid. The frame is solid. The tires have 4500 miles on them. New clutch 12000 miles ago. Trans was done last 50000 miles. Front end work in last 15000 to include new saginaw gear and control arm. Sway bars and linkage too. So this is a solid Jeep. Was going to rebuild the motor this winter but to many other projects. With new motor this is an everyday driver also great candidate for mudder or rock crawler. Its worth about $4500 parted out. I am looking to get around $2500. I will entertain trades outboards, mud motors, boats, etc. no reasonable offer refused.
