This matching number motorcycle is quite rare in that many of the pure competition bikes were well used for their intended purpose....racing! As a result, many of the motorcycles had significant damage. This motorcycle survived and was in great shape when restoration began. The motorcycle was completely overhauled and restored to it’s factory original condition. The bike does have a short checkout/start up ride, but, less than 10 miles! As you can tell from the pictures, the restoration (completed by Peter Ryan of Tennessee) was very detailed and very well done. Since restoration, it has been displayed in my personal collection and in climate controlled conditions. Features include a beautifully finished tank, correct exhaust pipes, rechromed Dunlop rims, “Made in England” tires (front tire is correct 3.50 x 19), cad plated hardware....and the list goes on and on!
