Thank You for looking at our eBay auction. . . . this is a 1999 Subaru Legacy Postal RHD (right hand drive). . . .could be used to deliver mail, newspapers, flyers, etc. . . . its a one owner vehicle (a woman) . . . . this is not the prettiest car out there but it will get you where you need to go and SERVE THE PURPOSE IT WAS MADE FOR . . . . . . it has a 4-cylinder engine, automatic transmission, AM-FM Radio, AC, power brakes, power windows, power steering, transmission shifts fine, runs fine, does not seem to leak anything, does not overheat. . . power steering is a little whiny (does not seem to be leaking, probably has air in it) overall not bad. . . .just has the rust as seen in photos . . .interior is ok. . . no rips, just staining on rugs (including cargo area) car has NOT been cleaned or "dolled up" for photos, I'm positive the car will clean up and look 10x better . . . . . tires good. . . . has the owners manual in glove box . . . its missing the plastic cover for the inside of the tailgate (probably a $10 item at a junkyard) . . . car has lots of spray paint touch up, and in the past few days the speedometer cuts on and off . . .however mileage is clearly accurate on CarFax, this appears to be a recent thing, there is a trailer hitch mounted which I'm sure is removable . . . . . the mileage is 170k (anyone knows anything about Subaru's knows they are good for 300k + miles). . . . . . . .ITS VERY HARD TO FIND THESE . . . 1999 was the last year for them. . . the last one we had was same year. . the same color with 289k miles with more rust and it sold for over $5k . . . . . . .this one seems to just have cosmetic issues. . . .it appears to have a new(er) alternator and hoses, also the oil change sticker shows its not due for 3k miles (suggesting car was cared for by regular oil changes) this car was made to serve a function. . . . not to take to car shows. . . . bidding starts at $775. . . .no reserve . . vin number 4S3BK4953X8307747 as with any car that's 15+ years old . . . there will be dents, rust, dings, scrapes, flaws, surface rust, scratches, wear (I looked under the car, its NOT a rust bucket), Subaru's of this era were notorious for rust over wheel arches. looks worse than it in . . . in my opinion. YOU CAN FIND ANYTHING FOR THIS CAR ON EBAY . . . .VERY VERY CHEAP. . . .they made a zillion of these cars. . . THANK YOU this vehicle must be paid for before its picked up, no "cash and carry", NO PAYPAL . . when car closes we require FULL payment within 5 (five) days. we will overnight title, bill of sale and paperwork to you so you can register it. and come get it. or we will meet your transporter if you are shipping it. please ask your wife, husband, girlfriend, boyfriend, significant other for permission AND any financial issues resolved BEFORE you bid, I have heard every excuse of why a high bidder cant complete the deal, including "my cat walked across keyboard and accidentally bid on it" . .yes that was a real excuse someone gave us. . . .
