1979 Ford Pinto Pony 2 door coupe. Less than 120000 original miles. Western desert car--no rust ever. Original 2.3 4 cylinder engine runs excellent. 4 speed standard transmission. Excellent driver. Good clutch and brakes. Original paint looks very good. Interior is complete however it is typical of a southwest desert antique--crispy crunch (needs interior work). This was the low price leader when new--no options. Simple, reliable an very clean. Current owner has enjoyed it for at least 20 years. Runs cool even on the hottest of summer days here in Phoenix. 14 inch alloy wheels. New exhaust system and cat-v. KYB shocks. Fresh timing belt. Good original glass. Starts, runs, stops and drives excellent! This is a very nice daily driver. Drive it home--drive it anywhere. On Nov-27-15 at 06:57:23 PST, seller added the following information: As a bonus to the winning bidder the owner is including a very nice OEM (black)replacement dash pad. This is an original equipment dash pad that is in much better condition than the original dash pad currently in the car. Owner purchased this part in excellent condition but never installed it however after many years of inside storage it too has developed several cracks but it is easily recoverable before installation. We will include this item in the car upon shipping. See photo 12.
