Looking for a project car that reliably runs while you work on all the non-engine stuff? A car that's REALLY fun to drive?? Buy my Prelude! Sure it's quirky. The gas gauge is a little wonky and will intermittently read "full" for no apparent reason. I just restart the trip odometer when I fill up. It gets about 200 miles to the tank in city driving. About 300 highway. Speedometer can be quirky too, but very rarely. Some other issues: - The dashboard lights for the seat belt and parking brake are always on. Not sure why. - Sunroof leaks in heavy rain. - Antenna is broken and speakers need replaced. - Air con non-functioning, but heat works. - Front sway bar needs replacing. Mechanic says it's safe but should probably be replaced next inspection. (Inspected until June '16) - Slow leak in power steering fluid. I just top it off every month or so. No other leaks under the hood. - Paint is a little faded and clear coat is chipped in some places. Minor dings and rust. See pics. All that being said, the motor is in excellent shape. This car starts every time, and I've never owned a more reliable vehicle. I love this car. Love love love it. The only reason I'm selling it is that I just bought another one and can't convince my SO that we need two 'Ludes. *** UPDATE with more info *** Trans was replaced at about 175k miles. I also replaced all 4 fuel injectors at about 180k miles. Timing belt and water pump was done about 200k miles. I didn't keep records because I never thought this car would last so long, so these are approximate. Happy bidding!
