This is a 1986 Chevy CUCV M1008 that is formerly a military truck. It's rated at 1 1/4 ton. It has a Dana 60 kingpin front axle with 4:56 gears and a limited slip. The rear is GM Corp 14 Bolt with a Detroit Locker. It has 6.2L Detroit Diesel that runs, a TH-400 auto transmission and in my opinion the transmission doesn't shift as smoothly as I think it should but I'm not a mechanic. It does shift through all the gears though. The snow plow is a Western plow and does work in all directions but is fair condition. The engine leaks a little bit of oil while running, the ignition switch is broken and starts with a screwdriver, the 4-wheel drive and hubs all seem to be functioning fine. The inside is dirty, the bench could be replaced, all the tires hold air but there is a good size piece of rubber that got sliced off on the passenger front tire and the radial belt is showing. As stated in not a mechanic and that being said the front end gets what I call a "death wobble" on occasion. The max speed of this truck is 55 mph and I have driven down the highway at that speed. Also the fuel gauge doesn't work. She's a work horse and has all the right parts for the right person. This is a NO RESERVE auction! Please only bid as if you're a serious buyer. If you live out of state I'd highly recommend that this truck gets shipped as I do not know if it could drive across the country. It is sold as-is where is. I'm willing and able to help in any aid with a shipper and can also deliver for a fee "close by". I also have a video walk around of the vehicle running. There is a $500 non refundable deposit due upon 24 hours of the end of auction and the balance to be paid in cash or cashiers check if you're using a shipping company.
