----For sale is a 1968 Ford Mustang Shelby clone which was purchased in the 1980s already as a Shelby clone with a 302 v8 in it. In the mid 1990's a big block 428 was found to match the Shelby vin plate on the car for a 428 police interceptor ( Serial # 8T03S178857-02907) The car has been sitting for nearly 20 years in a garage with a car cover on it until recently we moved it outside to take pictures showing the overall condition just uncovered. The mustang 302 does not run, the top end was removed while in the car with the drive shaft and transmission that is included with the car. The 428 long block is included which is on a engine stand (stand and moving dolly not included with the sale) You will only receive what is in the pictures nothing more. ---The Shelby clone is in good condition with hardly any rust, has shelby fiberglass hood and trunk lid with complete interior. The car already has a great foundation to complete for the right person that does not want to spend over 125K for a real Shelby GT 500 convertible. This was my fathers car who passed away, I have been around this car for 30 years and I am not an expert, only going off what I was told about the car by him.
