Wow, you don't see them like this one very often, and you always smile when you do!!! Original, locally owned, 1979 MG Midget Convertible Survivor Sports Car. This Midget is all original. It has obviously been cherished, and taken care of by a local owner for almost 20 years; Always pampered and never abused. This MG Midget maintains a very nice fit, finish and shine to the original paint. The black interior is also all original and excellent! No splits or tears to the seats. All lights, gauges, 3-blade wipers work! The and AM-FM radio seems to not be getting power. Even when cold, 1493cc engine runs very strong, starts right up, and idles smoothly the way a well oiled machine should! Transmission is smooth and precise. It drives and handles as well as it did in the late 70's. A true automotive time capsule from that fun era! As I said its a hard one to beat!! Comes with owners guide, a replacement oil filter, a carbeurator rebuild kit, and extra clips and tabs for the roof, which is in perfect condition. Has boot for the top and tonneau cover. Color is a very classy Yellow with great chrome accents all over ,and the fragile "rubber bumpers" are excellent on this car! For honest full condition disclosure be sure to review the condition section above for the minor few items I have noted. In closing I want to stress I don't think there is any better, low of mileage original condition MG Midget currently offered for sale! We have had several British Sports Cars over the years and this one is by far on the top of the list! I have done my best to describe its condition and attached as many pictures as allowed by Ebay. Although I believe this to be a very solid car it is being sold "as is - as described" to the best of my knowledge and ability. The only negative on the car is that it needs brakes, feels like only the fronts are working. The parking brake sensor still lights up, as do all the other lights and gauges. All in all the car shows really nice, I wouldn't call it a show car but more of a very clean driver. There is no damage evident on this vehicle.This is a garage kept vehicle.The engine on this vehicle is running properly.This vehicle has no known defects.Overall, this vehicle's exterior is clean.The mileage represented on this vehicle is accurate.There are no signs of prior damage on this vehicle.This vehicle has a smooth shifting transmission.All power equipment is functioning properly.Extra clean interior.
