Vehicle Detail
My father has been collecting Alfas for over 40 years.. He's 86 now. i have no interest. So, here's your chance to just take it all. 4 cars, engines, hoods, doors, bumpers, parts and parts.. and parts 3 are guilletta spiders. the nicest body, is the 1960, has 55k miles, no engine or trans installed. really really nice rust free body. painted 3o years ago. completely solid floors, trunk everywhere. the 58, ran 20 years ago. its all orig 1300cc engine, has 85k the 57, is a solid car, no engine/trans installed. all cars are solid, floors trunk floors It would be hard to seperate what parts go with what cars, so,it all goes as one. truck load of parts. the 76 ran 20 years ago too. Car is complete, super nice body. we had it painted and just put it in a garage. not the best way to store them, but it was dry. there are 4 engines, two are 1750's, rebuilt, never fired, and the other two are 1300's. there is a tranny or two, and a complete rear end. 4 doors, couple hoods and trunk lids. gas tank. chrome trim, handles, tail lights, lenses, bumpers, convertible top frame, and even stuff i dont even know of. the pictures correspond with a1 being the 60, a2 the 58, a3 the 57, and a4 the 76, more pictures available upon request, tell me what you would like to see. call me if you have any questions 814-599-4889 cars are located in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania,30 minutes from Penn State UniversityOn Nov-12-15 at 15:42:25 PST, seller added the following information: **** UPDATE*** i found the motherload of parts. that my father said was in my garage and guess, what, they were in the rafters of his. so, i found 6 metal seats back/bottoms, two tops are covered so, 8 pieces , two mint door panels in black all cars have frames for the convertible tops. several lenses, many many lights/ front lights, chrome trim, bezels, several sets.. turn signals, etc.. just a box of lights. found a box of spare speedos, several tachs, water temp guages, probably 10 guages bumpers- the 58 has a set, but found a complete rear in nice shape, sure it needs rechromed, but its all there.. (last inspection was 1977)found another rear bumper not as nice shape, but all there. front bumpers, more than two sets of bumpers, one set has an overrider on it, so, all cars have some sort of bumpers, and some left over engines,-- the 58 is complete.there are 4 complete engines, two are 1300's, two are 1750's rebuilt, another 1300 block with a head off, and another block , there is a head that has rust damage from a leaky roof, and a crank there are 3 transmissions, one is connected to an engine, 2 or 3 driveshafts, 2 piece oil pan, big thing, two spare doors, one spare hood and trunk lid, all cars have all body panels, these are spare in blue all cars have glass, spare doors have glass, the 60 drivers window is out, but there is a window in the parts bin that i think is the correct one. if not, the blue door has it. several window gears, tracks, lots of chrome trim, and the emblem box is cool, many many emblems.one gas tank out of cartwo radiators, maybe 3.gears, and boxes or ignition parts, mirrors, two generators, weber manifold for the veloce, starter, many brake drums exhaust manifolds, springs and a complete rear end drum to drum i dont know how to add more photos, but will maybe host a site and add them or i can email them to you on request.thanks for looking. and no, i dont have a buy it now price in mind. who has this stuff? On Nov-14-15 at 08:51:47 PST, seller added the following information: UPDATE: according to a couple ALFA historians, (they are certainly smarter than I or my father) and i understand if someone wants to back out. but here is what i have found out. the 58, is actually a 56, it has a vin of ar1495 00722 and has an engine number of ar1315*40587, the title of this car had a blank in the spot of the year, We assumed it was a 58. I have been told that it probably has the correct original engine. the 57 has a vin of 1495 04302, i dont think we have the original engine. but there are two 1300cc engines, one 1300 block, and one 1300 bare block. and a 1300 head ALSO, from the vins of the engines, I have learned they are 1600cc engines, these are the ones rebuilt never run. i thought they were 1750's. they are definately 1600's the 1960, Best body car. there is a discrepency in the title vin. i can provide what is on the car 1495 09841, when i got to looking at the paperwork, it does not match., its not even close to a proper vin, might be an engine, but right now, no match. i'm not sure what i can do with the paperwork on this car. it is from 1984. So, with this new information, if anyone wants to back out, no problem. the vins of engines are 1315*43440, 1315*43757, 00526*26469, 00112*15352, 00102*30859(block only with crank and a couple pistons)
