I am listing this car for an ex customer on my mail route. She has 3 cars now and a two car garage so it is usually stored. The car belonged to her husband who is now deceased and her children have no interest in this car. I can only tell what I found not working. You need to ask questions for clarity. Not a scam or a junk car by any means. It shows very nice as it was painted about 4 years ago but mostly stored since then. The interior is the biggest thing in need of attention as it is all original, but needs to be redone. almost EVERYTHING else on the car is new or rebuilt, with documented receipts that I have and will include for you. The 365 engine was rebuilt in 12-10. by Rumore's classic cars in Rockford ILL. 815 399 4847. This was $4062 including towing and a wheel cylinder. The metal work on this engine was $1110 (grind crank, boring 60 over) Another bill is for misc items like battery, plugs, hoses, is $993. Another bill to replace fuel tank and more for $320. We have a bill for $1522 for a carb rebuild and intake gasket. Another bill on 7-23-11 for $2295 is mostly for a trans rebuild. More misc receipts as well. The bottom line is this can was taken care of and rarely driven the last few years. The tires are not new but look like it. Hardly no tread wear. Along with the interior I mentioned is the dash pad. It needs to be replaced. The back seat area is decent looking. I could not get the heater fan to do anything. The windows are electric but the drivers side will not roll down. The radio does not work but along with that, there is no antennae. There is an after market radio in glove box. The lower right light on the front bumper is missing/does not work. Their may be more that needs done but I listed what was obvious. If you have questions, please ask me and I will try to get you an answer in 24 hours. The car is close by. Owner does not want to be there alone unless someone is with her. If you want a very nice looking 57 caddy without spending 60k on a frame off, this is it. With a little more work, this car could bring great money down the road. All of the hard stuff is done. THIS CAR IS YOURS ONCE YOU DRIVE OFF!! I don't want you to get home and say something is wrong, so ask now, or set up a time to see in person if in the northern IL area. The car starts and I moved it out of driveway. I did not test on the road. I believe it would go anywhere, however to me, it is a local driver. I don't know how this 58 year old girl would do on the highway, so a trailer is recommended if traveling far until you know her better. I have a separate photo of numerous documentation. I can send later if interested. The mileage is only ASSUMED to be 108,283. Not what the dash reads currently at 8,283.
