Vehicle Detail
Selling two Honda big red atc's. One of them is a 1984 Honda big red that is in great shape. All the plastics are without cracks or holes. This atc has a factory Honda frame skid plate, and also comes with the factory tool kit including the very low tire pressure gauge, which is all still located in the tool kit under the seat. The hand break cables were frozen when I got the atc, so i temporarily removed the levers and cables, it will need new cables, and it will come with levers for both front and rear hand brakes. The brake shoes still actuate freely and have a lot of life left in them, and the rear foot brake works as it should. This atc starts right up with the electric start and shifts smooth through all the gears (high and low plus reverse). Should the battery go dead, don't worry because the recoil starter works great too. The front tire is brand new, but the rears are showing some wear, and the left rear has a slow leak. The front shock boots are starting to disintegrate from age.The second Honda atc is a 1983 200e big red, this machine is not in as good of shape as the 84, but it does run and ride just fine. Obviously this one is in need of a seat cover, and there is a pretty big crack in the right rear plastic. No tool kit with the 83, and it will also need a new air filter and battery before being totally ready to go. I got both of these wheelers from the estate of an older gentlemen who bought them both new, they had been sitting inside for many years not being used, the 84 did not sit as long as the 83, which is probably why its a little nicer. Ive spent a few days trail riding the 1984 and it performed flawlessly. And like i said the 1983 needs a new battery and air filter, so that has only been run in the garage. The tanks on both machines are in great shape inside and out, minus a little sun fading on the tops (not to bad)Neither one of these machines are show room condition, like many of the others you see on eBay, however they are completely functional units and still look great for being 31 years old, plus they are a blast to ride. So they are ready for total restorations or the trail, you choose.Thank you. Let me know if you have any questions.
