Vehicle Detail

Just rolled over 200,000 miles but still starts and runs like when I bought it new in 2000 in El Segundo, CA. Fortunately it only had to spend one year in Los Angeles traffic before moving to central coast CA. All freeway miles, well maintained according to mfg schedule (belts/plugs/trans/etc), very few cosmetic blemishes, never required any engine repair. Dark gray vinyl (leather?) interior has power driver and passenger seats with lumbar control, power windows & door locks. Automatic transmission w/cruise control, AC w/front&rear defrost, pwr steer, pwr brake, ABS, On-Star equipped, CD/tape deck, cargo net, tow package (but has never towed anything). Remote keyless entry & security. Seats 5 people, middle seats fold down to increase cargo area. Passed smog test on 10/30/2015. Engine runs perfectly, interior and exterior are nearly pristine, no ugly scratches/rust other than the one small dent in front-left fender barely evident in photo. Main issues identified during professional mechanic inspection on 11/03: slow rate oil leak from various gaskets (but barely a drop per day on my driveway is what I've experienced); evidence of cooling system corrosion in places including around radiator cap; steering linkage and lube joints need repair due to wear; driver door pins need replacing due to wear; new tires are needed due to normal ageing (wear pattern is not too bad, car drives perfectly straight--does not pull to either side). Estimates for having the above repair work done is in $1000-$2000 range (depends mostly on labor, not that much in parts; tires would be another $400). But I think this car could easily do another 100K without problems if the above issues are fixed, it would become practically dealer-lot condition, worth well over $3000 in my opinion considering its great cosmetic appearance and amenities--people may actually think you bought a new car.
