I bought this car approximately three years ago. I had plans to restore it, but financial responsibilities have not allowed that.This car has seen some use on the drag track back in its day. This car will be sold as a roller, but it does have an engine and transmission installed. I have a clear, good Tennessee title in my name. Car is currently in Lexington KY. Engine/Tranny : I have actually drove the car a couple of miles when I first purchased it.. I would call the engine shot, as there is oil shooting from the overflow tube on the block.. Could mean the rings are fried, or I was told maybe someone didn't put the block off plates in the manifold. No guarantees either way. I was told its a 327, however the engine block code comes back as a 283.. It's a possibility that someone built the 327 from the 283 block. For some reason, there is a working 3 speed manual in the car.. I haven't started or drove the car since the first few days of ownership. Frame: I see no issues anywhere on the frame. Good and solid. Very, very little surface rust.. Body: Minor rust issues underneath. Cannot see any rust on the outside of the car. There is bondo/fiberglass throughout the body. I've taken pictures of the most obvious places the are starting to show. All body panels are straight. Trunk / doors open as they should. Currently it has lexan door windows, I have a pair of un-usable doors, with regulators and good glass for both sides. Windshield and back window are glass, weatherstripping missing. Floor pans have been worked on, some rust, but nothing rusted thru. Trunk pan has some holes, and rust. SS 396 grill in great shape. Front bumper/trim all looks great to me. Back bumper is mostly in good shape, minor damaged pictured.Wheels/tires/ suspension : Driver front ball joint is shot, all tires are junk, but will hold air.. Passenger rear tire only holds for about an hour. Weld prostar drag wheels stay with car !! Skinnies on front, and wides on the rear ..all 15"s. Interior: Rough. Gutted. Etc. The trunk is full of door panels, dash pad, dash parts, pedals, trim etc. Could possibly be cleaned up and used again. Roll cage welded in, headliner is mostly surface rust.There is a bunch of used parts that come with car: chrome trim pieces, fuel cell, door panels, and a slew of other parts and pieces, including the doors mentioned earlier.Once again, this is car is selling as a rolling project, in its current condition.
