This is a head turning lifted convertible Dakota that was purchased as a Father & Son project. A job offer came up, so my son will be moving to Texas in the next few months, and unfortunately we we won't get to enjoy this truck. We purchased it about 4 months ago from an older man who became disabled and could no longer get into the truck (it does have a 3" body lift) and he could no longer handle the 5 speed with the clutch. The last time this truck was licensed on the road was about 3 years ago. The truck looks super cool, kinda like a HotWheels truck. We only drive it around the neighborhood (we never licensed it), but it always gets head turns and finger pointing with big smiles as we pass by! The truck has a nice set of 17" Ultra Rims and Big O Big Foot 245/70 R17's. It has the factory bed liner that has never been removed (except for the photo in this ad), the bed looks great! The paint on the tailgate is faded, but the tail gate metal is in great shape (the tailgate was exposed from the carport the prior owner stored it under over the past few years, so the sun faded the paint). Since we bought the truck, it has been in the garage. The interior is original, with a factory bench; the driver side shows some wear. This is a "5 Speed" with the 4x4 option, very rare from what I can tell. All the glass is in good shape. It starts easily with no smoke. The throwout bearing does have a little sound to it, but it seems to shift well (it made need a clutch replacing in the relatively near future). After writing this add, I just remembered that on top of the gas tank module does leak sometimes (since the truck is lifted you can easily see the small amount of gas that leaks on top of the tank at one of the lines). I tried to give a Full Disclosure about everything on this truck. This is not a show truck as it was previously a daily driver, but for something fun to drive, that turns heads, this is a great truck! I set the reserve price VERY LOW! as we need to sell before the move.
