I want to start off by asking you to please call for honest answers BEFORE you bid. Or better yet, come by and look at the vehicle or have someone inspect it for you. I do the best I can describing my vehicles and I include very good pictures that can be expanded. I do this to try and avoid any misunderstandings. It is impossible to list every little item on a vehicle that may or may not be important to a buyer. Thanks. This is a super cool old COE cab over made into a pick up truck. The proportions are perfect so it looks very much like a factory built truck. It fools a lot of people. The cab was always rust / dent free. No signs of any repair work done to it. The cab is a 1948 Ford. The bed is form a 1947 Chevy 3/4 ton pick up. The rear fenders and running boards are custom made and solid as a rock. The seats are worn, but useable all leather, power, and heated. The sit very nice. All new wiring. All lights work as they should. The temp gauge in the dash quit working but there is another one under the dash. All other gauges work. The speedometer works but reads higher than you are going. No horn. It has vintage A/C and heat, but only the heat is hooked up and working at this time. The A/C parts are included. The paint is Hot Rod Black Satin, not just black primer. It is showing its age, but still very serviceable. I also have a brand new front bumper and brackets that come with it. The windows and vent windows work just fine. Glass is all old but in good shape. Could use some new weatherstripping. Even the original door locks still work. It is sitting on a late model 1 ton GMC chassis. It has 4 wheel disc brakes. Power steering. All new front end parts. The engine is a rebuilt 350 with after market heads and a slight cam. It will spin over the duallys !!. The trans is a rebuilt 200r4 over drive 4 speed automatic. The rear is a 14 bolt posi with 3.73 gears. It has air ride on the back and springs on the front. It also has a goose neck 5th wheel connection built into the bed. Tires are all in decent shape. New Edlebrock carb. Exhaust is all new a custom made. Now for the only issue it has, if you want to call it one. This is a very short wheel base truck that you sit on top of the front wheels. Because of that, and because the power steering is so easy, it gives you a very odd feeling while driving it. The steering is very sensitive. As long as you don't over correct when you feel movement, it handles just fine. I have driven it many miles with no issues. The fix, if you really want one, would be to either put a pressure reducing valve in the steering pump, or maybe switch over to a rack and pinion set up. I did just have the alignment re-done at a professional truck shop and it is spot on, and I have the paperwork to show it. Again, I drive it with no problem. The vehicle does not leave here until all funds clear my bank. Bank and cashiers checks can take up to 10 business days. My bank will give me a letter stating the date when the check will clear. I will forward a copy of the letter to you. Bank transfers can take up to 2 days depending on what time of the day it is initiated on your end. Again, my bank will let me know when it clears.
