I have bought a different AMC drag car so am offering mine for sale. This is an Alston chassis back half car. I just had the roll cage updated and it will certify for 8:50 seconds. The hood is fiberglass as well as the front and rear bumpers. I hope to weigh the car this week. New scoop and new belts. My new car arrives this week. This car is being sold as a roller-no engine or transmission. Just painted this spring-not fancy but we took it to bare metal and shot it-driver quality. NEW Lexan windows and New windshield. NEW tires front and NEW rear slicks -14X32 rears. Aluminum interior. NEW gauges. Differential is a Dana 60 with 4:88 gears. All the brakes are NEW and fresh. I just got the car back from redoing the rack and pinion, NEW lower ball joints, New tie rod end and front end alignment. 4 link in the rear and rack and struts front suspension. The strut towers have been boxed. I just had custom lower control arms made and installed. Car runs straight-no issues-I just ran the car today and am going to pull the drive train out this week. The car is set up for an amc V-8 and 727 tranny. The clutch pedal is still in the car should you prefer a stick.
