The bike has been parked the last three years due to a medical issue that I'd hoped would subside but hasn't . So reluctantly I will sale. When parked Sta-bil was used in a full fuel tank. Bike starts and runs fine but I have not ridden it to give a 100% guarantee that all is as it should be. I know the VT Shadows and Ascots are prone to needing carb jets replaced after setting too long. Plan on doing this but you may not need too. Needle is missing from tach, don't know how that happens but I bought it that way. Good tires , new battery , fresh oil , fresh fuel and all lights working. Previous owner painted bike with a non fuel resistant paint so there is some staining on the tank. No dents. Also there is a custom set of highway pegs on the bike that I planned to remove until I used them and saw the need. The Ascot was a great commuter bike and also a great Instructors bike for the MSF classes I once taught. This is a well balanced and nimble handling bike. Great for a commuter but would also make a great starter bike due to it being a "standard" with the riders weight being centered instead of stretched out on a cruiser. Bid with confidence , if you've never ridden one of these you'll be surprised when you do. One of the best bikes I've ever owned.
