Up for grabs is my 2001 Chevrolet Prizm. For those of you looking at this car you probably already know it’s a Toyota Corolla that was re-badged for GM. The car only has 66K and it was taken care of well. No check engine light and all original engine and transmission. I'd feel comfortable to drive this to California and back if need be. AC blows cold and heat is nice and toasty. It is a 14 year old car and is far from perfect but I will do my best to list all the pro’s and cons. This car was purchased used with very low mileage by my grandfather in 2005. He took good care of it but was very frugal so things that didn’t affect the drive weren’t taken care of immediately. He passed this year and left me his car. He and my grandmother used to drive to church and the grocery store and that's about it. This is the reason for the low mileage. He and I only use 5W30 Mobil One EP. I used to change it every 6k miles. All maintenance has been up to date on this vehicle. I was rear ended shortly after I took possession of this vehicle and it was totaled out. I took the payout and then some to make it what it is now. I used all OEM parts and had a good body shop do the body work right. At 61k I had the following things done Transmission Flush Coolant flush New AC delco Iridium plugs installed New Air filter Throttle body cleaned Exhaust leak fixed Power steering fluid flush R134a Coolant recharged New Ac Delco compressor New Costco Battery with transferable warranty AC Delco master window switch Alignment 4 wheel Road balance Within the last 15k the following things have been changed Brakes and rotors (ac deloco) Left and right outer tie rods Cooper Lifeliner tires (8/32nds still left on all 4) New exhaust flex pipe Things that will need attention or are noteworthy Master window will only go down three inches Rear driver’s side seat is stained (i left a box in the back seat for a month, I have not tried to clean it) Two plastic pieces held in with tapered screws (please see pics) Various paint chips and scratches The car has had body work in the rear quarter passenger side but it was professionally repaired Shake from 63mph to 73mph This is a great commuter car. I get 28mpg local and 37mph highway. I’m selling because I truly in love with V8's. I'd rather have bad mileage then drive a 4 cyc. Car will have 1k more miles in the picture as it being used now.
