1959 Chevrolet Custom cab shortbox pickup,big back window. Fleetside box.Mounted on 1978 GMC 3/4 ton four wheel drive frame.Frame shortened 18 inches to fit short box wheelbase.Frame completely sand blasted and epoxy primered and top coated.4 inch lift kit.454 big block motor.Cut firewall out in order to fabricate in newer steering column,power brakes and power steering.New radiator,new master cylinder and vacuum booster,new power steering pump,NAPA rebuilt steering box,new alternator,new fuel pump,new rebuilt quadrajet carb.Short headers with ball type collectors and custom welded exhaust.All brake parts new,master cylinder,booster,front rotors,calipers,pads,rear drums,wheel cylinders,hold down kits,shoes and all of the lines and hoses.New Blazer gas tank(24 gallon) relocated under bed to get it out of cab.Filler neck above middle of rear bumper under tailgate.all new gas lines and hoses.Complete truck inside and out has been sandblasted.Under neath hand painted with a brush to get in every nook and cranny with epoxy primer and top coat (two coats of paint).Up top painted dark blue.After market radio/cassette player that fits the dash,dash not cut.New oak wood floor in box with marine varnish and stainless steel strips strips.Had to get longer bolts to custom mount box,these are stainless steel also.New carpet.New wing window glass.New seat cover.New wiring harness by American Auto wire.Every piece of wire in the truck has been replaced.Harness has additional spaces for electric fan,stereo systems,electric fuel pumps,etc.Every piece of rubber on the truck replaced,window gaskets,door gaskets,hood bumpers,glove box door bumpers,shift lever boots.Custom made park brake cables with pedal from newer chevrolet pickup.New hood hinges.New water pump.New hoses and belts.Changed oil in front axle,rear axel,transmission and transfer case.Had to have drive shafts made for lift kit so they are new with all new u joints.LED rear taillights.New powder coated front bumper.New chrome Fleetside emblems on box.Cooper Discoverer 285/75R16 tires on American Racing wheels black spokes.New Warn lockout hubs.All new chrome acorn lugnuts(32 of them).Finished building in 2009 and had 4 trucks so less than 3000 miles since completed.Every seal in drive train replaced.
