This listing is for two 1967 Mercury Cougar WILL NOT SPLIT CARS UP. THIS AUCTION IS FOR A RESTORATION PROJECT FOR A 1967 MERCURY COUGAR Car #1: Description of red striped car (pictures 1-11): This is a running car filled with putty. The other body car is an entirely solid base for restoration. I bought this to restore myself and I've already restored 3 Mercury Cougars already, and I could use the space now. This is a great hands on project for someone that's interested in car restorations. List of new motor parts to the red striped car: New water pump New radiator New alternator New timing chain New valve covers New starter cylinoid New intake gasket New front tires New speakers New bushings New wires New distributor cap All new hoses The engine is really strong with no odd noises. Doesn't burn any oil when you step on it or start it... doesn't burn any oil at all. The transmission is good and was rebuilt 1 year ago. The rear end is rebuilt with new seals and bearings. So basically, all drive train parts are good. It has front disc brakes/rotors. All the ball joints and bushings have been replaced,. There's alot of usable parts in the red striped car to transfer over to the body car. Car #2: DESCRIPTION OF THE BODY CAR (pictures 12-24) : This car has a good sub frame and body that is entirely restorable. The restoration was partially started and then abandoned for the lack of time, and this was a few years ago. The hood is very good, I would say a strong B+ to an A. All parts are in good shape and entirely restorable. Refer to the picture of loose parts to see fenders, doors, hood, trunk ect...that are included with the body car.
