Lower bars, forward controls, different grips, recovering the seat in black, etc. These minor changes can be made for no additional cost to very little cost. Just ask. More elaborate changes can be made, such as repainting the tank, fender and oil tank for a nominal charge. Even the crank cases and cylinder head can be polished. The sky is the limit. Just ask 1967 Triumph TR6R bobber,. We built this about 18 months ago. It has just 600 easy break in miles on it. With the exception of a few minor road chips, it is still in beautiful, as built condition. EVERYTHING was new on this bike when built. Motor is completely rebuilt, cases glass beaded, covers and rocker boxes polished, sludge trap cleaned, new rod bearings, crank journals polished, rods polished, all new clutches, primary chain, upgraded stator, anything it needed, it got. Top end is all redone, fitted with an Aerco big bore kit. Cylinder head has been rebuilt, new Kibblewhite valves and guides. Amal carb was also new. The rest of the bike features a Boyer ignition, Tympanium regulator, custom made battery tray with a fresh sealed battery, cables, levers, bars, mirrors, etc all were new when built. The frame has a six inch extended hardtail. Chopper Shox solo seat system. Seat is covered in leather. Seat pan has a nice roll on the back to keep you from sliding off. Stock Bonneville gas tank, petcocks, tank badges and kneepads were also new. Oil tank is a nice vintage hex tank. 16 inch wheel on the rear, laced up with stainless spokes. Shinko Speed Grip replica tire on rear. Front wheel is a 19 inch, UK made Central Wheel rim laced with stainless steel spokes. Tire is an Avon 3.25x19. Front end is completely rebuilt and has hard chrome fork tubes. Custom made stainless steel fender struts. All parts were brand new when built. There is also a sprinkling of brass plated parts throughout the bike. These are all starting to patina nicely. The paint is all DuPont, base coat/clear coat. Gunmetal gray metallic with a dark charcoal metallic center stripe. Hand pinstriped in red. Oil tank is painted to match, with some tasteful pinstriping. The bike starts right up and runs perfect! It is a pleasure to ride. The Chopper Shox really smooth the ride out! The bike has a clear title and is currently registered and insured. I'll make sure the oil is changed and the bike serviced before it goes out the door to the new owner. Payment in the form of bank wire transfer due within five days of auctions end. Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and fees. For our European friends, easy and inexpensive shipping to Rotterdam is available. Although I have described this motorcycle to the best of my ability, it is sold as is, with no warranty expressed or implied.
