this is a very rare 1962 mercury s-22 comet - the body is nice, no rot, underneath is original with a little surface rust - see pictures - interior is original and in great shape - paint is not original - it was black cherry metallic - engine starts right up - car really hasn't been driven in years - I had the gas drained and a new fuel filter put in. also had to buy a carb on ebay that was redone as it had a holly in it that was no good. engine sounds good with no tapping - transmission shifts fine. this is a very good looking car which would be the only one at the car show. it has 50k original miles - it is being sold with my current registration as RI is a no title state. your state will issue you a title with my registration and a notarized bill of sale. if you are from another country the car ships with my plates and registration, you will also need a notarized bill of sale. it is currently registered and insured. I looked forever to get this as I had one many many years ago. I wanted another and it literally took me more then 5 years to find one. any questions just ask
