Vehicle Detail
I'm selling my 1969 Ford Mustang Convertible. It has a 302 V8, A/T, Power Disc Brakes, CD Player. It is a base model but has obviously received some mechanical and cosmetic upgrades. It's a major head turner and you cannot sneak around town in this car. It looks and sounds amazing!! Very smooth car with no shakes or rattles - drives and stops straight. Drivetrain- The motor was completely rebuilt (professionally) about 1500 miles ago. Bored .030 over, Edelbrock cam and intake, Holley 4bbl, MSD ignition, Hi-Performance radiator (this car will not overheat). Very smooth and strong engine. C-4 3spd Trans. During the rebuild it also received a new gas tank (and fuel lines) and a windshield. Mechanical - Brakes were completely overhauled less than 500 miles ago, to include; new lines, drums, hardware, and shoes in the rear, and the front drums were upgraded to power discs. It stops as well as any modern built car! It also received a new heater core and hoses, and the heater box was rebuilt. Suspension is all stock configuration but with new parts during the restoration. Electrical - Stereo was upgraded to a CD Player with iPod/USB aux input (just in case the sound of American V-8 muscle isn't enough). The headlights have all been upgraded to halogen bulbs and the rear lights are very cool LED with sequential turn signals. They're MUCH brighter (safer) than the stock 1 bulb design, and of course the sequential turn signals look really cool. Exterior - The top is manual and in very good shape. There are two small areas that were repaired on the driver's side. Should be able to see in the pics. The pics were taken right after I put the top up, so the wrinkles are from that and always smooth out after it's been up for a bit. The paint is in good shape but does have some dings and chips here and there. This car is a driver, not a trailer queen. The flaws are all small and don't really show up until you're right on top of the car - from 10 feet away it looks perfect. Chrome is all fine and is in a condition equal to the paint. I have the original steering wheel and will include it if you'd like. I also have the owners manual and many service records - all will be included. Car is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
