This car has been immaculately maintained for the past 5+ years I have owned it. I have had extensive preventative maintenance done on this vehicle with the intent to drive it until it turns 300k on the odometer; however, due to my wife and I having a child on the way, I need to sell this car in exchange for a more family-appropriate vehicle (i.e. my wife has told me I need to sell this car in exchange for a more family-appropriate vehicle). This car has not seen snow, is garage stored and has a clean history. I have included a partial mechanical history to give you an idea of the investment I have made. Please note, this car has 79k miles! The extreme vast majority of miles have been highway miles. Please review the mechanical history below and see attached pictures. General Car Details: This vehicle was purchased with all available options from Mercedes. Some of these include: - Premium Bose surround sound with steering wheel control integration - Heated, leather seats with automatic 3-axis adjustment - Rain sensing automatic windshield wipers - AMG front air dam, side skirts, rear apron, V8 Mercedes Engine- Anti-theft locks and siren - Halogen headlamps/front fog lamps - Dual power heated exterior mirrors w/driver-side 3-position memory, RH side mirror w/reverse dip-down, LH auto dimming mirror - Dual front airbags, door mounted side impact airbags- Automatic rear sun / privacy shade- Spare wheel/tire in trunk with jack kit/insert- Roadside assistance medical kit, trunk pass through -VIN WDBLJ70G72T119454 I have also made some additions to the car including: -19” AMG style wheels -AMG style stainless steel Magnaflow exhaust (adds a deep/throaty sound to the V8 engine) - Upgraded stereo head unit to JVC KW-V51BT (CD/DVD with navigation, Bluetooth, hands free calling, iPhone and Android integration, Pandora) with steering wheel integration/control - Carbon Fiber 3M trim - 30% window tint As indicated, this car has been meticulously cared for with extensive maintenance records maintained. Work done within the past 25k miles or less include: - New valve cover gaskets, hoses, clamps- New battery, alternator, drive belt, serpentine belt - New tie rod/center link assembly, alignment- New spark plugs, wires, mass air flow sensor - Refrigerant recharge, transmission fluid flush, brake fluid flush, synthetic oil change (performed 1k miles ago)- New cabin filter, air filter, fuel filter, trans filter (oil filter replaced at oil change <1k miles ago) - New rear shocks, coils, mounts - New upper control arm, ball joint assembly, lower ball joints - New wheels, tires - Replace front and rear brake pads and rotors- New inner/outer wheel bearings, calipers - New engine and transmission mounts The above items were replaced proactively and without a direct need (ie a breakdown). The following items were replaced as they were not functioning as they should during my course of ownership:- New passenger seat motor- New windshield wiper motor, motor transmission- New Xenon headlamp bulbs- New sunroof motor This car is in tremendously great shape mechanically and cosmetically, especially considering its age. The engine and transmission in this car are widely viewed as “bulletproof" by mechanics familiar with this car (additionally, the engine and transmission used in this car was a part of the longest run of engine/transmission series made by Mercedes and therefore is extremely reliable, has tremendous longevity, and not shy on parts availability). I have no reason to believe this car will not make it well into 300k+ miles given the maintenance already done and overall condition. Full disclaimer: If I were asked what this car is in need of, critically, I truly believe, nothing. Beyond anything critical or even remotely concerning, I would replace the carpet floor mats. This car comes with both carpet and rubber winter floor mats (I use the rubber floor mats and will include both in the sale - both sets of floor mats are genuine Mercedes). The driver’s side carpet floor mat is well worn at the driver's foot position. Additionally, I noticed a loose seam on the driver’s seat (not a tear, just where a thread has come undone). In contacting a local upholster, I was quoted $70 for the repair. The top of the leather in the steering wheel shows some cracks, but I have not looked into having it conditioned/filled as it is out of my sight when driving/does not bother me. Note: This car does get driven occasionally on the weekends, therefore, I anticipate the mileage increasing slightly.
